Automatically Collected Information

  • Device ID: Unique identifier for authentication purposes (obtained from your device)

    • Plant identification events (plant name, confidence score)
    • Camera capture events
    • Gallery selection events
    • App open events
  • Plant Images: Photos captured or selected by you for plant identification purposes

Location Information

The Application does NOT collect precise location information from your mobile device.

Google LLC Services

We use Google's services for analytics and advertising. These services may collect and process your information as described in their privacy policies.

Note: This Application uses Google Analytics 4 and AdMob for usage analysis and ad delivery, which may automatically collect user information including cookies and advertising identifiers.

Cloudflare Workers API

Your plant images are temporarily processed through our Cloudflare Workers API endpoint (api-gpt.eerf0309.workers.dev) for plant identification.

  • Images are encoded and sent to our API for processing
  • Images are forwarded to external AI services for plant identification
  • Images are processed temporarily only and are not stored in logs
  • Images are deleted immediately after processing

External AI Services

Your plant images are forwarded to external AI services (such as OpenAI) for analysis. These services process your images to provide plant identification results.

  • Images are sent to AI services only when you use the plant identification feature
  • AI services may temporarily process images for analysis purposes
  • Please review the privacy policy of the specific AI service provider for their data handling practices

4. Data Retention and Management

  • Google Analytics Data: Retained according to Google's privacy policy (default 26 months)
  • Plant Images: Processed temporarily and deleted immediately after analysis. Images are not stored on our servers
  • Device ID: Sent to Firebase Functions for authentication token generation only. Device IDs are NOT stored by our services
  • AdMob Data: Managed according to Google AdMob's privacy policy

5. Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • Right to Access: Request access to the personal information we hold about you
  • Right to Delete: Request deletion of your personal information
  • Right to Opt-Out: You can stop all collection of information by uninstalling the Application
  • Ad Personalization: You can opt out of personalized advertising through your device settings

6. Children's Privacy

The Application is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we discover that we have collected such information, we will immediately delete it from our servers.
